Perola da Lagoa - new investor - things can only get better?

Date: 30 Sep 2008 10:38:52 -0000
From: nicky stevens

Hi, I live on "Perola" and nearly 3 years after the pictures in this posting
nothing much has changed here. If anything disappointed owners
as the site is still not finished or maintained, the communal
pool is often closed as not useable as it is usually green and
probably a health risk. Hopefully, as we hear a new investor is
coming in, things can only get better.

Bom Succeso villa for sale

Date: Tue, 16 Sep 2008 06:33:38 -0700 (PDT)
From: Maureen Campbell

Hello David, we have seen your advert and wonder if this house
is still on the market? Can you let us have some more info?

We are at present in S. America and hope to be in Portugal in
March / April of next year. I, realize my enquiries may seem a
bit premature - but we hope to put together a portfolio of
possibilities before we get there. Can you tell me the
constructed area of the villa.. the land area.. when it was
built? Is a floor plan available?

Does it have mains water, septic tank? Are there other villas
close by?

We have owned property in Portugal before and feel we would like
to retire back there. It is "only" a matter of finding the right
place. We shall be returning to Florida at the end of January
and staying there until we leave for Europe in March/ April. As
I, write this I'm thinking as you probably are that it is too
early to try and make arrangements - after all the property
could be sold by that time. However, we will keep it in mind.

Thank you. Regards.
Maureen Campbell.

Project works Foz do Arelho / Obidos / Silver Coast

Date: Thu, 11 Sep 2008 16:30:52 -0400
From: "Jorge"

David,

Thank you for maintaining a wonderful web site. The reason I am
writing is to ask, if you happen to know who the major players
are within the development and building groups. I am in the
process of trying to find out who they are myself, and thought
that you may able to help me.

My goal is to join one these firms and assist them in building
these projects. My CV is available by email (below) if you are
aware of a firm who might be looking for someone to assist them.
I have been fortunate to work on some rather incredible projects
during my career, and I would very much like to participate in
the development of Portugal's Silver Coast.

I currently hold a European passport, I am a Canadian Citizen
and also have residence status in the United States where I
currently work and live with my family.

My parents were born and raised in Foz do Arelho before
emigrating to Canada. They have since returned and now live in
Foz do Arelho again. We were in Portugal this summer to visit
them, and had the opportunity to have a look at what was
happening on the other side of the Lagoa de Obidos, and I just
could not believe what I saw.

Any assistance that you could lend would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly do you have any more information on the resort being
planned in Foz do Arelho?

Best regards.

Jorge
