The Moinhos da Costa villa apartments have phenomenal,
spectacular and unbeatable views over the Obidos Lagoon and the
sea at the opening of the Lagoon. The villas are set in well
tended, and mainly lawned gardens, with a private shared tennis
court at the rear.

Most of the owners in this resort are Portuguese who use their
villa-apartments in the summer, so the properties only rarely
come up for sale. There are several foreign owners, at least two
of which are English, who rent their apartments for tourism. The
combination of a lower purchase cost than villas in the area,
and good rental return, makes these villa-apartments an
excellent investment.

If you ask local tour operators and agents, the honest ones will
tell you that apartments are notoriously difficult to rent on
the nearby golf resorts, where the holiday maker preference is
usually for larger villas. They will also tell you that this has
not been the case for the villa-apartments on Moinhos da Costa,
perhaps because of the excellent private facilities, the views,
and the closeness to the beach, the village, restaurants and
shops.

Over the last ten to fifteen years the private Moinhos da Costa
resort has become a favourite for holiday rentals and it is well
renowned with tour operators and travel agents for the high rate
of repeat bookings, which is always a good sign and a key to
getting a good return on the investment.

All the luxury apartments were originally constructed as two
bedrooms over the last fifteen years. Some of the owners
fortunate to have purchased the top floor properties have
converted the attic space into a third bedroom which increases
the resale value and rentability.

they are bright and spacious and are furnished, equipped and decorated
to a high standard.
