Just a note to say thanks for the apartment.

The family had a great holiday - weather great, food and wine fantastic and very cheap! I don't think I spent more than 2.5 euros a bottle all week!

I can recommend the nearby sailing school to your future guests - run by a really welcoming team and the lagoon is a fantastic place to hone those windsurfing or catamaran skills. Food there is also well worth trying.

We spent 3 weeks this summer (July & August) at David's apartment in
Foz. We found it to be a very spacious and clean apartment. It has
amazing views of the Obidos Lagoon from the balcony that you could
never tire of looking at.

The Atlantic coast of Portugal is world renowned for it's
quality of surf. The World Surf Tour comes to Peniche on the
Silver Coast every year and Surfer Mag acknowledged Supertubes
(supertubos) and the Baleal beaches as being among the best
surfing spots in the world. Below is a very long video of two
Welsh Lads enjoying a full day of surf at one of the many surf
spot beaches at Peniche.
