Four of the six resorts in the Lisbon region recommended as places to buy on the goverment website, Living in Portugal, are in the Obidos area. Three of those are beside the Lagoon, and one on the beach....

We've always thought of the jewel in the crown of Portuguese tourism, Obidos, as being at the heart of the Silver Coast region, but it's been clear for some time that the government wants Obidos in the capital's tourist region.

I was invited to visit the Bom Sucesso Design Resort, Leisure &
Golf today to see the progress of the new shopping area next to
the reception.

It looks like the supermarket which promises to specialise in
gourmet foods and be the premier gourmet outlet in the Oeste
region will be opening shortly. I'm told the plan is to be open
by August. The new Maze Restaurant, Bar and Pizzaria is also
looking like it will be up and running by August which will
increase the restaurants available on the resort to four.

Bom Sucesso - Silver Coast Design Resort.

I'm a conventional person, and don't generally go for these so called "modern" villas. Usually they look to me like a warehouse. But these circular looking villas on Bom Sucesso are very attractive:-

The plots for villas range between 700 sqm and 3000 sqm. The prices vary according to their location and the type of project to be constructed.

The villas are three, four and five bedroomed. Swimming pool and landscaping are optional.
